Biology Colloquium

The Department of Biology has a weekly series of invited seminars during the academic year.  Distinguished scientists from institutions throughout the world, including UCR, present one-hour lectures on their research programs.  Topics cover the range of biological research from molecular biology and biochemistry to ecosystem ecology and macroevolution.

The Biology Colloquium is held on Thursdays from 4:10 to 5:00 PM.  The usual room is the Genomics Auditorium, but the venue is occasionally changed to accommodate a larger audience.
